Purpose. To validate the performance capability of a vehicle ventilation system to prevent ingestion of debris from both outside the vehicle as well as from the vehicle glove box (assuming close proximity of the glove box to the blower fan).

Applicability. All passenger vehicles with a ventilation system.

Remarks. Not applicable.
