This standard describes material types of mineral filled polyamide 6 (nylon 6), which are used in injected or extruded form for molded components.
Material Description. Additional characteristics will be indicated by code letters according to the respective specification number. Code letters that may apply to this standard are in GMW3013.
Symbols. greater than PA6-M..less than ;
The symbol, per ISO 11469, shall be completed by the supplier according to the mineral content of the material.
Typical Applications. Beauty Cover, Wheel Covers.
Remarks. The classification into groups is according to the different ranges of mineral content.
