This standard describes material types of glass bead/glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6 (nylon 6), which are used in injected or extruded form for molded components.

Material Description. Additional characteristics will be indicated by code letters according to the respective specification number. Code letters that may apply to this specification are in GMW3013.

The symbol, per ISO 11469, shall be completed by the supplier according to the glass bead/glass fiber content of the material.

Typical Applications. Connectors, electrical distribution box.

Remarks. The classification into groups is according to the different ranges of glass bead and glass fiber content.
