This new standard includes recommendations for the allowable nozzle loads for the following types of pumps:
  • Horizontal end suction single (ANSI/ASME B73.1)
  • Vertical-in-line single stage (ANSI/ASME B73.2)
  • Axial split case single and two stage
  • End Suction Slurry
  • Vertical Turbine Short Set
    • Many other pump types are not included because of the different designs that are unique to each manufacturer.
