1. SCOPE 1.1 This method described the procedures to be adopted for determining the stretch and set of an automotive fabric for interior applications and has been based on Lear Technologies Test Method GWI-304. 1.2 A specimen of the fabric is suspended vertically between grips and extended at a constant rate to obtain a preset load and the resulting extension expressed as a percentage elongation. 1.3 The set in the specimen after removing the force is expressed as percentage stretch-set.
