1. SCOPE
The material described by this specification is a pressure sensitive coated rayon fabric or polyester tape of high adhesive strength suitable for binding PVC covered electrical cables, synthetic rubber and plastic hoses, etc. The tape shall be sealed with a waterproof plastic material and shall have a high tack adhesive applied to one side. When unwound by hand the adhesive shall not transfer to the back of the tape.
