1. SCOPE:
The material defined by this specification is an extruded butyl rubber bonding tape with an electrical resistance wire centrally located. When required by Engineering Drawing, a black fade resisting fabric shall be attached to one side of the tape. The tape is applied to the primed surface of the glass in such a way that the fabric becomes the inboard surface of the tape and acts as a dam to prevent creep.
