1. SCOPE
These specifications cover four 'grades' of corrosion protective finishes for iron and steel whose basic characteristic is phosphate treatment and subsequent protective compound. The type of phosphate, and compound are optional with supplier unless otherwise specified herein, or in other agreements between individual purchaser and supplier. A suffix code system is provided for designating certain limitations on compound.
