This specification describes a lightweight resilient flexible blanket of preformed glass fibres bonded together with a durable inert thermosetting binder. The binder must be uniformly distributed throughout. The blanket shall have on both sides a random layered non woven black fabric consisting of a polyester/viscose/acrylic blend. The front edge of the pad shall be crimped.
