1. SCOPE
This specification covers the minimum requirements of a one part, room temperature applied, polyurethane adhesive material. This material is intended for stationary glass bonding systems and has a higher viscosity, modulus and hardness than HN 2152. The material is designed as a body primerless urethane for use on specific basecoat/clearcoat paint systems. It can also be used with pinchweld primer compatible to the specific paint systems.
In some circumstances the material will be required to bond plastic material, such as primed PVC, ABS etc to painted steel. In these cases the material will conform to the performance requirements of HN 1597 Clause 6.
