1. SCOPE
The materials described by this specification are thermoplastic polyesters which are suitable for extrusion or moulding. Typical products are tubing, seals and gaskets. For outdoor exposure it must be protected from ultraviolet radiation by suitable pigments or paint. The Type 2 material described by this specification is a PTFE lubricated thermoplastic polyester of high modulus where anti-squeak performance is required.
