1. SCOPE

This specification covers the requirements of a one component, cold or warm applied urethane adhesive. The adhesive is primarily intended for adhering C-pillar mouldings to the exterior, painted C-pillar. The adhesive must have sufficient quick grab properties to prevent 'bowing' of the C-pillar mouldings. Additionally the adhesive must be rapid curing to enable sufficient handling strength and bond durability within a few hours. The adhesive shall not significantly degrade in structural and/or adhesive properties and performances when subjected to direct weathering or dynamic vehicle vibration.
