1. SCOPE

This specification covers the performance requirements of a compression moulded unconsolidated polypropylene and glassfibre composite layered with spunbonded polyester scrim for use as material for headlining assemblies. The assembly shall consist of a three layer sheet, combined with a decor material that is approved to the appropriate materials specification. The lightweight nature of the polypropylene and glass fibre composite shall be achieved by low pressure compression moulding of both components into sheet form. Refer section 4.1 for further details on construction.
