This specification describes the requirements for a closed-cell, soft foam with excellent compression set properties. Foam is typically a polyurethane based material. Typical applications would include spoiler gaskets where excellent compression set is required to maintain a watertight seal. Foam gasket shall be adhesive backed and be suitable for use at temperatures up to 95°C.
