1. SCOPE
This specification covers straight and formed coolant hose intended for use as long life radiator hose, heater hose and other flexible conduits for automotive engine cooling systems. Such products are intended to withstand the effects of circulating solutions containing corrosion inhibitors and glycols and operating under various pressure conditions at temperatures from - 40 to 130 degrees C. The requirements for this hose are derived from and are similar to GM6278M.
