The material described in this specification is an elastomeric tape, which acts as an insulator. The material is pressure sensitive and forms bonds to oily galvanized steel, CRLC steel and plastic substrates at room temperature.
The material shall be compatible with production phosphatizing, ELPO and topcoat systems and shall not be adversely affected by bake temperatures up to 204°C.
