This standard covers specialized fittings made of ABS or PVC intended for DWV applications and specifies requirements for materials, dimensions and other physical characyteristics and markings.
This standard covers the following specialized DWV fittings:
- water closet flanges with 45° outlets;
- water closet flanges with swivel rings and 45° outlets;
- water closet flanges with 38 mm (1.5 in) shifted outlets;
- flush water closet flanges with or without elastometric seals;
- extended water closet flange couplings;
- diswasher wyes;
- nominal 3 x 2 double wyes for horizontal branches;
- extended couplings;
- short pattern elbows;
- stack vents; and
- base vents.
