INTRODUCTION

The International Conference on A i r Law which met a t Guatemala City from 9 February t o 8 March 1971 was the sixth in a series of Conferences on A i r Law held under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organization. The previous ones were held a t Rome (1952), The Hague (1955), Guadalajara (1961), Tokyo (1963) and The Hague (1970). The Conference was convened for the purpose of considering the draft Articles for the revision of the "warsaw Convention as Amended a t The Hague, 1955", prepared by the Legal Committee of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
