The ISO/IEC 13888 series provides non-repudiation mechanisms for the following phases of non-repudiation:

— evidence generation;

— evidence transfer, storage and retrieval; and

— evidence verification.

Dispute arbitration is outside the scope of the ISO/IEC 13888 series.
