This standard specifies basic rules related to preparing 2D Isuzu drawings for mechanical engineering (hereinafter referred to as mechanical engineering drawings) by using the orthogonal projection method and a comprehensive structure of mechanical engineering drawings.

This standard shall apply to Isuzu's product drawings (including Isuzu-approved drawings). This standard may also apply to drawings such as as-cast/as-forged part drawings and fixture/tooling drawings.

Points for revision on June 1, 2022] Thereference standard of the projection method in Table 1 was changed from"ISA-K-008Y" to "Clause 8 of JIS B 0001". Accordingly, ISA-K-008Ywas deleted from Clause 10.
