This standard covers to consider when designing caution plate and safety label to be affixed to vehicles and components manufactured by Isuzu Motors Limited with regard to shapes, dimensions, forms, materials and qualities. However, if such requirements are specified by regulations or OEMs, those requirements shall be followed. These rules shall not apply to VIN plates for vehicles to export markets and plates and labels with characters and symbols for decorative purposes. These rules may also apply to caution plates and safety labels which are directly displayed on products.
PURPOSE
These rules are established to promote communization of forms and the like specified for caution plate and safety label.
