This standard applies to oils to fill at overseas production facilities by instructed in KD manual when the engineering specification of factory fill fluid is not specified and to be recommended in owner's manuals for maintenance in general export destinations( except Europe and north America) (hereinafter called "overseas recommended oils"). This standard applies to all vehicle equipped with diesel engine. This standard is not applied to the engines equipped in vehicle or machine at customers such as industrial machinery.

Note: In the case of industrial machinery and so on, information is offered as reference by conference between the persons concerned.

PURPOSE

This standard aims to clarify specifications requirements and selection procedure of engine oils to fill at overseas production facilities or to be recommended for use in general export destinations. It also aims to promote sharing of information on recommended oils and facilitate the oil brand selection process.
