This standard was established to specify the quality requirements for a paint protective film (hereinafter referred to as ‘film') to be attached to the outer panels of vehicles to be delivered to customers, to prevent deterioration of coating quality due to contamination and corrosion by acid rain, bird/insect damage, atmospheric fallouts, etc.
