This standard covers the requirements for sheet type heat curing epoxy adhesive (hereafter called ”adhesive”) for adhesion of steel panels to steel panels.

This adhesive is made mainly of epoxy resin, synthetic rubbers, fillers, and hardener. The adhesive is molded into a tape or sheet form, and used on steel panels with an oily surface in the body assembly shop. The adhesive is then hardened in the E-coat paint oven.
