This Recommendation defines serial digital interfaces operating at two nominal clock frequencies, 1.485 GHz and 2.97 GHz, for studio signals with 1 920 × 1 080 pixel arrays, at various frame frequencies up to 60 Hz, 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 sample structures defined in Recommendations ITU-R BT.709 and ITU-R BT.2100. The interface may also be used for carrying packetized data.
