This standard specifies the following two patterns of test methods for evaluating the steering effort in low-speed cornering of a vehicle that starts with running straight, turning the steering wheel (turn-in), going along a corner, and then returning the steering wheel (turn-out).
- Lemniscate curve running test
- Right angle corner running test
Note that this standard shall not be applied to the motor cycles and special motor vehicles.
