This standard defines the subset specification for JASO D015-3 which defines CXPI communication protocol for mainly HMI (Human Machine Interface) of road vehicles electric system. The subset specification is for implementing CXPI communication for the diagnostic class I slave nodes by using application specific integrated circuits without MCU. However, it is also applicable to Low performance MCU (legacy).
