This standard specifies the test methods for unscreened single-core low-voltage cables used for automobiles (hereinafter referred to as the “cable”).
The standard can be also applied to individual cores that constitute a multi-core cable.
The application of each test specified in this standard shall be acceptable if compliant with the tests in the latest standard as of the development of the applicable cable. If any test is required after the issue of this standard, the tests in this standard shall be applied.
