This standard specifies the structure, required performance, and test methods not described in JASO D618 (Automotive Parts - Test Methods for Unscreened Low-voltage Cables) of shielded and unshielded singleor multi-core high-voltage cables used for automobiles. It also specifies high-voltage cables other than those described in JIS C3405 (Road vehicles - High tension cables).
The rated voltages of the cables shall be 30 VAC to 600 VAC and 60 VDC to 750 VDC.
