This standard stipulates requirements and evaluation methods for four-wheel-drive vehicle chassis dynamometers when performing mode testing of fuel consumption rate for four-wheel-drive vehicles with a vehicle mas of 3,500 kg or less.

A chassis dynamometer that can be used for a four-wheel-drive vehicle without vehicle modifications and that has single-axis rollers in both the front and rear.
