This standard prescribes a direct measurement method for measurement of ammonia concentration in exhaust gases that are emitted from an automobile, or from the exhaust pipe of an engine mounted in an automobile, by using a Fourier transform infrared spectro meter, mid-infrared quantum cascade laser spectrophotometer, near-infrared tunable diode laser absorption spectrophotometer, and microwave spectro meter.
