This technical paper provides a guideline for swappable batteries used in battery swap systems for electric two wheel vehicles. The guideline provides guidance for safety, electrical characteristics, mechanical characteristics, and environmental compatibility that are required for swappable batteries of voltage classes A and B, and guidance for the interfaces necessary for maintaining battery compatibility.

Information in the technical paper is formulated for swappable batteries used for battery swap systems for electric two wheel vehicles, and does not cover all batteries for electric two wheel vehicles.
