This technical paper provides guidelines related to the daily check procedures for SPN measurement equipment that count the solid particle number in vehicle emissions. These guidelines were established for equipment that counts the SPN with a lower 50% detection point of 23 nm. However, these guidelines are not equivalent to calibration provided by the manufacturer of the PN measurement equipment.
