This handbook contains general guidelines for the implementation of an air vehicle Low Observable Integrity Program (LOIP) for the Department of Defense. These guidelines describe a cradle to grave program for achieving and maintaining the LO signature of air vehicles by managing risks and cost of ownership through a series of tasks across the life cycle of the air vehicle and integrated with the acquisition program to provide a framework for ensuring the integrity of the signatures. This handbook is for guidance only and cannot be cited as a contractual requirement. If it is, the contractor does not have to comply.
