MIL-HDBK-529 establishes best practices for use of the CleanLASER handheld
lasers (HHL), specifically models CL300 and CL1000, on aerospace ground equipment (AGE) for
corrosion and organic coating removal. It is important to note that this handbook is note applicable
to other commercial off the shelf hand held lasers, The handbook covers various topics including,
but not limited to, safety, training, maintenance, troubleshooting, tools, materials, and operation
of the HHL. This handbook is for guidance only and cannot be cited as a requirement.
