This publication defines the requirements for Quality Assurance (QA) to be established and applied by the Supplier for final inspection and test.

Purpose

This publication contains the requirements, which, if applied appropriately, provide confidence in the Supplier’s capability to deliver product that conforms to Acquirer contract requirements.

Applicability

This publication is for use in a contract between two or more parties.

When referenced in a contract, this publication shall apply to all of the processes necessary for the Supplier to fulfil the contractual requirements.

Where identified by the Acquirer other appropriate standards can be used in conjunction with this publication.

If inconsistencies exist between the contract requirements and this publication, the contract requirements shall prevail.
