INTRODUCTION
This chapter specifies the basic operational limitations for general application in the design of aircraft but are not applicable in the case of take-off and landing requirements for VSTOL aeroplanes. These requirements are to be used where there are no aircraft specific requirements that take precedence.
Requirements are provided to cover the following aspects:
Operating Limitations - covers the general criteria and requirements for aircraft operation.
Aircraft Performance Limitations - covers the evaluation of aircraft performance
Operational Colouring and Markings - covers colours, markings and placards
Publication of Aircraft Performance - covers preparation and publication of data on aircraft performance
Electronic Cockpit Documentation - covers display systems for the on-aircraft provision of information.
This section comprises the content of DEF STAN 00-970 Issue 1 Chapters 101, 103, 606, 806, 1013. It is intended to provide information similar to the content of JAR 25 Section G.
