Part 2 of this NES covers the material and installation requirements for non-load bearing composite bulkhead systems which are to be used as partitions to form boundaries for cabins, public rooms, messes, offices, passageways etc.
Composite bulkhead systems are NOT to be used as boundaries which must retain a degree of watertight or gastight integrity, such as bathrooms, heads, galleys and associated spaces.
