This standard covers the through life requirements of FHA’s, from design, type testing, procurement, packaging, storage, installation, maintenance, and replacement to their subsequent disposal.
This standard supplements DEF STAN 02-345 [Requirements for Flexible Rubber Pipe Assemblies and Bellows for use in Systems from Vacuum to 20 bar], but excludes flexible pipes for High Pressure (HP) hydraulic systems, covered by DEF STAN 47-032 [Rubber Hose and Hose Assemblies for Fluid Power Systems].
