This standard specifies the requirements for glass reinforced plastics (GRP) mouldings and provides a guide to the quality control inspection procedures and acceptance procedures for GRP mouldings.
This Defence Standard does not cover:
a) A guide to methods for the production of hand laid-up GRP mouldings. This is covered in Def Stan 02- 701 Part 1;
b) A guide to the various tests and testing methods for evaluation of the quality of GRP mouldings. This is covered in Def Stan 02-701 Part 3.
