This Defence Standard (Def Stan) specifies the minimum performance level for High Pressure (HP) fluid connectors for use onboard HM Surface Ships. For Submarine duty additional shock testing and quality assurance procedures may be required.
This Standard does not cover the installation or assembly of connectors. For assembly details, prior to test, refer to manufacturer's instructions.
