This standard specifies the requirements for Integration assessment of AEA or SE comprising those items of designated aircrew equipment worn, carried or employed by aircrew, passengers and troops in the normal performance of their duties during flight.

Also included are those approved items used for emergency escape, survival on land and sea and subsequent rescue.

AEA or SE Integration policies and practices shall be in place and effective from the earliest phase of a contract/project.
