This Quality Procedural Requirement (QPR) describes procedures to be observed when placing sub-contract orders for products or services in aid of MOD contracts requiring compliance with the quality assurance Defence Standards. It identifies cases in which MOD quality assurance activity at a sub-contractor‘s works may be deemed necessary. Whe invoked in a contract or order its provisions may be relaxed only if authorised by the nominated MOD Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) after consultation.
