This NES gives the requirements, procedures and theory for the oil injection method (hydraulic fit) of mounting one part on another in such a manner than an interference fit is obtained.
It covers all general applications of the hydraulic fit technique.
Examples of specific applications, together with the calculations required, are given in Anncx C. All dimensions are in millimetres unless otherwise stated.
