MODUK DEF STAN 21-26: PART 2 PDF

This part of the Def Stan provides guidance information on the implementation of various sections of Part 1. Guidance is organized under the same general headings as used in Part 1 of this Def Stan in order to provide a simple method of associating text and guidance. Supplementary Annexes are also included to present associated topics in more depth. Direct Clause–to–Clause mapping has not been used as it would lead to a fragmented guidance document.

This Def Stan is applicable to Combat Systems and Equipments within a single Surface Ship or Submarine environment and is intended for intra–ship digital data communications between devices, equipments, sub–systems or systems which contain a data processing capability, for example a micro– processor with firmware.
