This Standard specifies requirements for foam concentrates, for controlling and extinguishing hydrocarbon fires in aircraft, ships and vehicles, as well as for general purpose use.
Concentrates shall be between 1% and 6% inclusive dependent upon their specified concentration for use.
This Standard includes the requirements for low expansion foam concentrates only.
