The test schedules given in tables 2.1, 3.1 and 4.1 show the performance parameter to be tested: the specification for testing that parameter: the applicability to the five types of gasket defined in Part 1: the parts of the procurement process for which the test is suitable.
The preferred assignment of tasks to the Capability Approval and Quality Conformance categories, shown in tables 2.1, 3.1 and 4.1, is given for guidance purposes. However, the rationale for alternative assignments must be agreed with the Approving Authority before implementation.
