This cordage is suitable for military audio headgear and handsets for use with the Clansman range of radio sets. It consists of six insulated conductors (two of which are screened) laid up around a central strain cord, sheathed overall with thermoplastic polyurethane.
The cordage is suitable for use over an operational temperature range of -30ºC to +70ºC and in installations where abrasion and repeated flexing can be expected.
This cordage complies with Def Stan 61-12 (Part 7)/2.
