This Defence Standard specifies the minimum requirements for airframe HF antenna wires.

The test methods and requirements reflect the minimum properties which conductors shall meet for MOD use. The unique properties and construction of particular wire are specified in this Standard.

This Defence Standard relates to two wire types, i.e. type 1 - single conductor and type 2 - stranded conductor.
