This Standard provides guidance on cleaning procedures for components used in diving and marine oxygen systems; it does not apply to systems and components intended for aviation use. This includes acceptable cleaning methods, cleaning agents, cleanliness limits and confidence levels for accepting batches of cleaned components.
It specifies the levels of cleanliness to be achieved and to be maintained by packaging and labelling of the cleaned components until they are ready to be used.
This Standard is applicable to both liquid and Gaseous Oxygen systems
